Located in the Little Rann of Kutch, the Wild Ass Sanctuary is the largest wildlife sanctuary in the country. It is extended in an area of 4954 kms and is one of the places to inhabit the endangered species of wild ass as well as Asiatic wild ass. Apart from wild ass, it is also a natural home to other animal species such as chinkara, caracals, nilgai etc. Not only this, several species of invertebrates, insects, mollusks, spiders, lizards, amphibians, reptiles, turtles, mammals and birds are also inhabited in the sanctuary which make it a not to miss attraction in Kutch for the wildlife lovers.
