Vishram Ghat is one of the prime ghats in Mathura and holds great significance in Hindu’s life. According to one of the famous legends, Lord Krishna took rest here at this Ghat after killing his maternal uncle Kans. The entire ghat has lots of temples and the parikrama is supposed to be started and ends here. Though there are many temples at this ghat but the main are Radha-Damodar temple, Mukut Temple, Narasimha Temple, Langali Hanuman Temple and many more. The Vishram Ghat is famous for its Aarti that held in the evening every day. At the time of Aarti, you will see innumerable oil lamps floating on the river. These oil lamps are lit by the devotees from different cities and they used to do this to show faith towards the Lord Krishna!!
