Visakha museum is located on the shores of Ramakrishna beach. The museum is maintained by Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam. It has many chronological possessions and art works. It is housed in a architecturally exciting Dutch Bungalow which is 150 years old. It was first established in 1991. The museum has a collection of antique arsenal, older cutleries, silk costumes, coins, pictures, stuffed animals, maps, dairies of great sages, and letters of the kings during the wars, manuscripts, periodical and even the scrap books. The museum preserves a 250 – lb bomb which was used by the Japanese during the Second World War. The bomb did not explode and now it is kept for display to visitors.
