Located at the node of the Village Road and the Kodambakkam High Road in Chennai of Tamil Nadu, Valluvar Kottam is a memorial monument built in order to show gratitude and respect towards the famous Tamil poet and saint named Thiruvalluvar. This memorial was built in 1976 and the charm of this place is still alive and as it is. There is an auditorium situated at the ValluvarKottam and is recognized as the largest one in entire continent as it can give place to around 4000 people at the moment. The edifice of the monument is so fascinating as it is formed in a Chariot form which is having a height of 101 feet and under the chariot structure, the idol of poet is placed.
