This is one of the oldest and one of the most admired gardens in Japan and is also well-known as the Hill gardens. The reason behind this is because of the fact that these gardens possess an artificial hill built on the garden. The main elements of the Tsukiyama Gardens are stones, ponds, trees, flowers etc. These are exceptionally beautiful gardens and are highly ornamental as well. The gardens are usually facsimiles of famous countrysides present in Japan or China. The smaller ones are usually viewed from the temple portico or from a single point. The bigger ones are best viewed by taking a stroll through the elected path in the garden.
