Travel Within Kufri

To get around the Kufri, a small picturesque hill station of Himachal Pradesh near Shimla, the most common modes of local transport are buses, taxis and even on foot.

Buses

One can see lots of local buses offering their services from one nook to another nook of the town. They used to charge very nominal fares from the local people as well as tourists and are reliable also.

Taxis

Taxis are also very commonly seen plying on the narrow roads of Kufri. They are non-metered in this hill station so it is better to fix the fare beforehand. Though they cost little bit higher than any other means but are safe and fastest means to get to any place in Kufri.
