Travel Within Jorhat

Jorhat is a popular tourist city and hence all modes of transportation are available here to travel within the city. The tourists can take local buses for travelling to distant parts of the town which are very affordable. There are metered auto rickshaws and cycle rickshaws which are easily available to travel to the various corners of the town. Rental taxis and cabs are also available for the ease of the tourists to explore the different attraction in Jorhat. Regular ferry boats can also be boarded from Jorhat to sail to the Majuli Island.
