Travel Within Almora

Being a tourist hot spot, Almora is no short of various transport options to explore the beautiful attractions in the city.

Taxi

Rental taxis are much popular among the tourists for local transport in the town. There are few private taxis and cabs that charge according to per km travelled. Their prices are not fixed so it’s better to negotiate the rates before hiring.

Bus

Local buses are also available to travel within the town. Though they are cheap but not quite comfortable as they are generally over-crowded.

On Foot

Almora is a fantastically charming hill town and hence the best way to explore the natural bounties is to travel on foot.
