Aurobindo Ghosh was the famous name in the history of India as the Bengali revolutionary and also Philosopher. Therefore, he founded an ashram named Sri Aurobindo Ashram in 1926 where his disciples were taught the lesson related to philosophy of an amicable community and Vedic studies were also promoted here. The highlights of this amazing ashram are well-maintained farms, lush green gardens, developed cottage industries and systematic library. Also, the ashram houses a memorial of Sri Aurobindo expired in 1950 and his follower named Mira Alfassa (popularly known as “The Mother”).
