Siliserh Lake is a mesmerizing lake in Alwar which is extended on a vast area of 7 sq km. Built by Maharaja Vinay Singh in 1845 AD, the lake forms an exhilarating backdrop of the splendid Siliserh Palace. Presenting an awe-inspiring amalgamation of panoramic natural beauty and architectural charisma, the lake is enveloped by thick wooded hills and is festooned with beautiful chhatris or cenotaphs on the embankment. it is also a home to various exotic varieties of fishes and water birds that presents a lovely sight to be seen from the balcony of the palace hotel.
