Senado Square is a community square in Macau. It is situated in the mid area of the Macau Peninsula. Wrapping an area of 3,700 square meters, this is one of the four biggest squares in Macau; the others being Praça do Centro Cultural, Praçado LagoSai Van and Praça do Tap Seac. In 2005 the Senado Square was emblazoned on UNESCO's World Heritage List as it outlines part of the Historic Centre of Macau.The square is so titled as since Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) it has been ahead of the Leal Senado edifice.
