Sati Burj, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh - Wonderful contruction in red sandstone
Beautifully constructed in red sandstone in 1570 A.D., Sati Burj is one of the main monuments in Mathura. This red-colored building was built by son of Behari Mal of Jaipur. The edifice of Sati Burj is very attractive and wonderfully constructed in four storey. It is one of the most ancient buildings in Mathura and is in tower form. This structure of Sati Burj is 17 meter tall tower and still has great attraction with its destroyed and ruined structure. Therefore, those who are fond of serenity and calmness must visit this building for the sure. The main aim to build this monument was to memorize the widow of Raja Biharimal!!
