Constructed in 1967 by Pt. Parma Nand Tripathi, it is a popular temple in Bokaro dedicated to Lord Rama. It is administrated by the Sri Ram Mandir Trust and conduct marriage for the poor people at affordable prices. In addition to the main temple, it also houses various smaller shrines such as Radha Krishna Mandir, Kali Mandir, Hanuman Mandir, Shiva Mandir and Sheetla Mandir etc. it also houses a holy library and a rishi niwas. The oldest market of Bokaro is also located close the temple and is known for its coffee house as well as tasty samosa, chaat, puchka and batata pori.
