King Pandu, father of the Pandavas, was the man behind the origin of the inhabited small town named Pandu, which is situated in the Guwahati, Assam. The main attraction of this town is Pandunath temple which is located on the hillock named Tila. Importance of this temple lies in the fact that during exile period of Pandavas, they resided here for long time in get-up of Lord Ganesha. You can see there five images of Lord Ganesha depicting the five Pandavas brother.
