Padma Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is not only a good source of entertainment in entire Darjeeling but it also has a pride of being the only zoo to be located at the highest altitude in India. Also referred as the Himalayan Zoological Park, it covers an area of 28 hectares and is perched at a height of 7000 feet. This park is a home to one of the most rarely found species of Tibetan Wolf. Other commonly seen animals in this Zoo are Red Pandas, Snow Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Barking Deer, the Himalayan Pheasant and Himalayan Black Beer.
