Lord Shiva is the main deity of Omkareshwara temple. This temple is one of the most enchanting temples of Coorg and was constructed in the 19th century. Lingarajendra built this magnificent temple presenting the perfect example of idyllic blend of two types of architectural style – Islamic and Gothic style. This striking temple was constructed in the year 1820 and a pool with numerous and different types of fishes are there in façade of temple. This pool is quite attention-grabbing and allures lots of tourists. If we talk of its edifice, then there is one dome and four mosque towers around this temple.
