Nehru Park, Jodhpur, Rajasthan - Children Park
This park was built especially for the children and was initiated by Shri Mohan Lal Sukhadia, Chief Minister, on September7, 1966. This garden is quite well-maintained and one can enjoy here swings, ducks in ponds, flowerbeds, magnificent fountains and lot more. In the earlier times, this garden has a charming pond – Bakhat Sagar pond but as the time passes by, it got worsen with dirty water of the city. After some time, a colony was developed on the upper portion of this pond and the Nehru Park was developed on its lower portion.
