Nairobi National Park is located 7 kilometers away from the centre of the metropolis of Nairobi. It is a well-sheltered game reserve. The park is home to 400 species of birds. This place houses a huge population of rhinos. It is inhabited with a broaddiversity of animals like lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, Zebras, wildebeest and eland. The attractions of the park comprise black rhinoceros, walking trails, hippo pools and Ivory Burning Site Monument.This sliver of untouched Africa survives on the rim of a metropolis of almost 3 million people. Seasonal streams run southeast into the Mbagathi Athi River, which is wizened with yellow fever and acacia trees. In the west the river runs throughout a deep canyon where rocky outcrops are the favouredhaunt of leopards.
