Nada Sahib Gurudwara, Chandigarh - Religious significance for the Sikh community

Nada Sahib Gurudwara is located on the banks of river Ghagar. The place lies in the Panchkula district which is 15 kms away from Chandigarh. The legend is that after fighting a battle with the Mughals, Guru Gobind Singhji had stayed here along with his warriors for a brief period. This place is of great religious importance for the Sikh community. The Gurudwara is named after one of the followers of Guru Gobind Singhji named Nadu Shah. Every month during on the full moon day, a large number of Sikh devotees visit this shrine to offer their prayer.
