Muta Crocodile Breeding Centre, Ranchi, Jharkhand - Being center for preserving and safeguarding endangered species of crocodiles
It was established by Government of India. It is found about 23 kms away from Ranchi. At present, the Park has 42 crocodiles. The breeding centre was authorized and started by the IUCN in the year 1987. The main purpose of the breeding centre is to conserve the endangered species and safeguard them from being destructed. The park is situated in the outskirts of the city and so provisions for establishing small houses for the visitors are being made.
