The Moti Masjid was built inside the Agra fort during the reign of Shah Jahan in 1654. During his time, this red sandstone fort was converted into a palace. A series of Hindu-style domed kiosks along the walls are built inside and the sanctuary is roofed with three bulbous domes. The Moti Masjid is a typical stylistic feature of Shah Jahani architecture that boasts of extensive white marble facing. There are seven bays divided into a number of aislessupported by piers and lobed arches. The amazing architecture of the Masjid will surely hold your eyes.
