Moosi Maharani kiChhatri is a double storied magnificent cenotaph of Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh and his queen Rani Moosi. Placed on a platform of pillared red sandstone outside the City Palace, this stunning monument is famed for its extravagant carvings done on the ceilings and walls. Nestled in a picturesque ambience of lush green Aravali ranges, the monument is a wonderful specimen of Indo-Islamic architecture. This elephant structured tomb beckons the visitors by its tastefully ornamented interiors and wonderful wall paintings done on the splendid arches and rounded roofs. Nearby it, a huge water kund known as Sagar is located with having steps on the three sides. Several temples are also located on the banks of the kund.
