Buddha temple at McLeodganj is located in the Kangra valley. The upper Dharamshala is known as McLeodganj. The place is the residence of the famous and the leader of the Buddhist community - the Dalai Lama. He is the religious person in charge of the Tibetans so it is prevalently recognized as Little Lhasa. Near the dwelling place of the Dalai Lama, a well-known Buddha temple is located. In the year 1960, the Indian administration had permitted the Buddhist Dalai Lama to settle down at the beautiful city of Dharamshala. Along with him lots of his supporters live in his monastery and made the place ideal as a traveler’s destination.
