Maluku also well-known as the Moluccas or the Spice Islands is a province of Indonesia consisting of roughly 1000 islands that is flanked by Sulawesi and Papua. The huge sea-coasts and elongated coastline are not just the topographical features of the isles. The Maluku isles are forest-covered, and hilly. The mountains are generally craters, and, the islands of Maluku, is preceded atop one of the most vigorous volcanic belts of the world. In actual fact, the last 400 years, more than 70 eruptions have been recored in the Maluku.
