It is the smallest lake among the three lakes of the Ranthambore National Park. The lake is quite important to the wildlife of the park as it serves as the source of water and food for the animals and birds inhabited there. In the early morning, one can see a good variety of bird species near the lake such as plovers, herons, moor hen, kingfishers, storks and so on. Moreover, tigers, monkeys and crocodiles can also be seen drinking water and lazing around the banks of the lake.
