Dedicated to Goddess Vrajeshwari or the Goddess of Thunder, the temple is a popular religious site in the hill town of Chamba. The temple is situated at the Jansali Bazaar and is believed to be 1000 years old. It is built on a platform which is made in shikhar style of architecture that includes a tall tower with 5 or 9 sections. A major attraction of the temple is exquisitely carved chhatris. During Navratris, the temple premises hold a large gathering of devotees followed by colorful celebrations and rich decoration.
