Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur is one of the best examples of amazing architectural style and is among the last palaces constructed by the Maharajas. This palace was built by Maharaja Umaid Singh in 1944, therefore, it is the recent one. The tilt of Maharaja Umaid Singh towards western style can be easily seen by the construction style of this Palace. Henry Vaughn was the main architect of this awesome palace. At present, the palace took the shape of museum as well as hotel and is quite impressive for all its visitors. Amazing but true, the present king of Jodhpur still lives in this palace.
