Nalanda is a very small town in Bihar known for its historical places and cultural history. There are many ways of traveling over the city like by bus, train, tonga, taxi, cabs and many more.
Taxi
Nearest train station is around 35 km from the town and taxies and cabs can be hired from very far of the places. Best option is to hire a taxi from the Bihar Sharrif. It is not as much expensive as of train.
Rickshaws
There are rickshawsoffered at the station to reach to the historical places of the town. They are cheap and are easily available.
Local Bus
Local bus is also a popular means oftravelling over the town and is cheap too. They are non- metered and will cost around 50 rupees to the main town and are joined to the other parts of Bihar too.
