The national airways connect to all the major towns and cities of Bangladesh. Land transport in Bangladesh is one of the cheapest in the world. The roads are crammed with buses haphazardly; express and non-stop services are available to cheif towns from Gabtali, Saidabad and Mohakhali bus stops in Dhaka. The Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) also maintains a nationwide network of bus services. Taxis here are recognized with their black bodies and yellow tops. Make sure you fix up the prices before starting off and check with the driver whether he understands where you want to go. Apart from taxis, there is the something called "baby taxi" - a three-wheeled vehicle, which can prove to be quite a hip breaking experience.  Another fancy travel option here is the "mishuk" - the mechanized form of the "rickshaw", which are easier to find than a taxi. The traditional rickshaw, i.e. the human peddled carriage is ideal for short distances. Rail service is well-organized and connected to all chief places of interest. Chittagong, Khulna, Mymensigh, Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Bogra are well linked by rail to the capital city Dhaka. The country has a well-crafted water transport system, and though slow, it is extremely efficient. Country made boats is the most extensively used mode of transport for people and commodities.
