Travel Within Ayodhya

A number of local transports are easily available in Ayodhya to travel in and around.

Buses

Local buses are the most popular means of local transport in the city and are generally crowded. They are run by the state government and charge nominal price to travel across different distances in the city.

Auto rickshaws

They are also quite popular and can be hired as shared or individual. They are available round the clock to travel to various parts in the city. They usually do not run on meters. Rental taxis are now getting popular among the tourists to travel within city of Ayodhya.

Tongas

Tongas are driven by horse and are comparatively cheaper than taxis. They normally charge around Rs 5 to 20 according to the distance.
