Teen Darwaza, Ahmedabad, Gujarat - Architectural style and intricate interiors
Teen Darwaza is famous for its architectural buildings. It has an elegant triple arched gateway. This is the longest and oldest gateways of the City of Ahmedabad. It was built by Sultan Ahmed Shah who built the Ahmedabad city. Teen Darwaza faces the glorious Bhadra Fort and is wonderfully carved in stone, which gives a striking appearance to the tourists. This gives a royal entry to the square. The pillars and walls of Teen Darwaza are designed marvelously. The windows of this striking monument are semi-circular in shape and are decorated using meshes. This is said that Noorjahan and Jahangir used to watch multicolored processions from this place.
