St Paul Church is one of the most popular churches in Diu which is believed to be 400 years old. Constructed in 1691, the church is dedicated to ‘Our Lady of Immaculate Conception’. The church bears quite resemblance to the Bom Jesus Church of Goa and it is renowned as the biggest Portuguese Catholic church located at the island of Diu. Built in traditional Gothic style of architecture, the church is worth visiting due to its shell shaped motifs and appealing volutes.Apart from it, the lavish wood carving and elaborate furnishings of the church enthrall the visitors with the artistic craftsmanship of the bygone era.
