Sippighat Farm, Andaman and Nicobar Islands - Rare plants and spices
Sippighat Farm is located 18 kilometers away from the beautiful city of Port Blair. The farm is a research and development center at the Andaman. The main intention of this park is to cultivate the rare plants and spices to make the Andaman rich and wealthy. The commonly cultivated crops in the research and development center are coconut, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and pepper. The center is responsible for the Andaman Island’s vegetation and agriculture. Research and Demonstration farm of the Central Agricultural Research Institute is located very near to the farm.
