Shillong Golf Club not only serves the purpose of playing and enjoying the Golf, but this Golf Course is very scenic and joyful. The location of Golf Course itself is quite mesmerizing and fabulous as it is situated in a rolling valley completely enclosed with pine and rhododendron trees. Because of this panoramic location, this golf course is compared with “Glen-eagle course” in the United States. In the beginning years in 1898, the Golf course was only a 9 hole course and then after few years in 1924, it was converted into 18 hole course i.e. complete Golf Course by Capt Jackson.
