Constructed by Nanasaheb Peshwa, Saras garden is also known as Saras Baug. Located against the scenic background of Parvati Hills, it is one of the popular spots for relaxation. With elegant fountains and lush green lawns, the garden houses a renowned temple which was constructed by Madhav Rao Peshwa in the year 1774. In the garden, there is a Ganesh Murthi Museum, enclosing large number of Ganesh statues along with a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The garden serves as a beautiful hangout for the people during the weekends and evenings.
