Sanssouci Park, Germany - Palace and Garden

Palace, Garden, Amusement Park

Sanssouci Park was initially a simple terraced garden for Frederick the Great to put his green fingers to some use and ward off his royal anxieties and hence the name 'sans souci' that means without worries. Once the King discovered the miraculous ambiance of the place, he commissioned a dwelling to be constructed, which was shortly followed by more and more venues, transforming the copse into a widespread park with extravagant palaces and generous gardens, the affinity reflected all through Potsdam as a matter of fact. A classy place fit for self-reflection and a taste of leisure regal style.
