Palawan, Philippines - Scenic Beauty
Palawan - the extensive, slender isle in the southwestern part of the Philippines - has often been called the end frontier of the Philippines: there remain aboriginal tribes that have not fully incorporated into contemporary society. This is not to say, however, that the isle is untouched by development. On the contrary, large tracts of clear cut terra firma can easily be seen, and there are many cities and tourist resorts, particularly on the northern half of the isle. Northern Palawan, the more popular and picturesque resorts in Palawan are situated in the northern area, however. They are well-known because of the white sand, crystal clear waters, and house reefs you can discover while snorkeling or diving.
