While going around various sites in the Agra Fort,MusammanBurj is one of the most visited sites. Agra is the historic land that has several places to visit and know about the Mughal era. On the left of the KhasMahal within the Agra Fort is the MusammanBurj, an octagonal tower. Built by ShahJahan for his beloved wife MumtazMahal, it has an octagonal tower and an open pavilion. It is made of delicate marble lattices with ornamental niches. It is surrounded by a veranda with a beautiful carved fountain in the center. The chamber has a marble dome on top.
