Mahadeo Hill, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh - Marvelous temple of Lord Shiva
Mahadeo Hill is well located at an altitude of around 1363 meters and famous for the majestic holy shrine of Lord Shiva. People from different nook of the country come here to witness charismatic idol of Lord Shiva and also Shivalingam placed with the temple. The hill is also having a cave which is also too alluring just because of imposed cave paintings. Especially, at the time of Mahashivratri Festival, the hill gets highly crowded with lots of devotees of Lord Shiva. And, a pond within the cave also holds great significance in the Hindus life and those who came here surely take a religious bath in this pond.
