Located in the heart of the city of Bharatpur, Laxman Temple is one of the most prominent religious attractions in the town. Believed to be 400 years old, the temple by established by Naaga Baba who worked a lot for serving the mankind. Showcasing a rich Rajasthani style of architecture, the Laxman Temple is visited by a large number of devotees from in and around the region. Another Laxman Temple is also located in the city which is 300 years old and was made in 1870. Built of sandstone and white marble, it houses the idols of Laxmanji and Urmilaji made of Ashtdhaatu.
