Kondakarla Ava is a village which is situated at a distance of 48 Kms from Achyutapuram mandal. Kondakarla is popularly known for its biggest fresh water lake in the state of Kondakarla Ava. The fresh waters are bordered by coconut vegetation on one side and green hills on all other sides. This provides a picturesque view to the place. There is a Bird Sanctuary which is located in the green bushes of Konda Karla. A wide range of birds are seen in the Sanctuary all the time giving it a colourful view
