Kaziranga National Park is another delight for the wildlife lovers and Assam is quite fortunate to give this national park place in its hub. This national park is situated on the banks of extraordinary river – Brahmaputra. This gigantic national park is spread over an area of about 430 sq.kms and is well enhanced with tall elephant grass, marshland, tiny water bodies and also lush tropical forests. This national park is home to myriad of wildlife among which the main are bears, tigers, panthers, Chital, Gibbons, etc. Indian One-horned Rhino is the main attraction of this sanctuary. The peak time to visit this sanctuary is between mid November to early April. So, keep this in mind!!!
