Kazimar Big Mosque, Madurai, Tamil Nadu - Religious belief and architectural grandeur
Not only Madurai has lots of religious temples of Hindus, but it also has presents same respect for Muslims by having lots of mosques in its hub and Kazimar Big Mosque is one of them. Built by Hazrat Kazi Syed Tajuddin, this stupendous mosque is there to make an unbeatable place in the heart of its visitors irrespective of the caste and creed which they belong. Though it is a construction of 13th century, it still regains its superlative powers to appeal the people. This mosque completely justifies its name as it is spreaded over the huge area which has capacity to give place to 2500 people. Muslims in large number came here daily to offer their prayers!
