Juma Masjid, Kumarakom, Kerala - One of the oldest mosques in India
Located at a distance of about 12 km from Kumarakom, the Juma Masjid is a famous mosque at Thazhathangadi. Also known as Thazhathangadi Mosque, it lies on the banks of River Meenachil and a number of devotees throng here to this religious destination. Believed to be more than 1000 years old, it is also one of the oldest mosques in the country.
