A good network of roads connects the city of Nashik with Mumbai and Pune. There are several private and state buses that run through NH-3 National Highway and connect Mumbai to Nashik.

Nashik does not have airport of its own and the nearest airport to the city is the ChhatrapatiShivaji International Airport of Mumbai. It is at a distance of about 180 km from the main city and is linked to all the major airports in the country and abroad. Apart from it, Pune is also the second nearest domestic airport to Nashik.
