The Historical Center is a famous square in the Oaxaca metropolis. This square has a fascinating history. This place was formerly colonized by a series of peoples – Zapotecs Olmecs and Mixtecs. Fascinating attraction in The Historical Center of Oaxaca city includes terraces, canals, dams, pyramids and fake mounds of Monte Albán. Some of Oaxaca’s truly infinite attractions, which are branching out from the central part of the square are situated nearby the historical center. Renowned architect Alonso García Bravo designed Historic Center of Oaxaca in the year 1529. García Bravo designed the metropolis around a Zócalo or central square, which was named Historic Centre.
