Himchari is about 32 km south of Cox's Bazar alongside the beach. It's a nice place for picnic and relaxation for tourists. The illustrious "Broken Hills" and waterfalls here are astonishing sights. It is an exclusive place encompassing the picturesque beauty of green hills and blue waves of the vast sea. The Himchari National Park is a gorgeous tropical rain forest and which is sheltered and maintained for the people of Bangladesh and for visitors. Some of the grasslands may be areas which were intruded upon before the Park was fully synchronized. The Himchari Natural Park is a biologist’s amusement! There are more than 50 species of trees, counting Grewia microcos, Dipterocarpus turbinatus, Vitex pedurcularis, and Pterospermum acerifolium.
