Hainan, China - Scenic Beauty

Beaches, Scenic

It’s been more than 2000 years, but the Chinese have at last on track to see HÇŽinán Dao (Hainan Island) as more than a ‘Gate of Hell’, a place to which unruly bureaucrats were expelled to a destiny a tad better than death. Certainly, the rehabilitation of HÇŽinán’s repute has been so fast and so absolute that a visit to ‘China’s Hawaii’ has become a class icon in itself. Feeding straight off China’s thriving economy, the country’s smallest region now sees about 80% of its income swabbed on shore by tourism. And as a traveler, it’s hard not to be pleased about this is place where you can connect with Chinese blatantly kicking back and having a good time.
