The Gurudwara Guru Ka Mahal was constructed by Guru Ram Das in 1573, as a dwelling unit for his relatives. This place also provided residence to Sri Guru Hargobind Singh Ji and is the birthplace of Baba Atal Rai and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Later, Guru Arjan Dev and his son, Guru Hargobind Singh Ji, rehabilitated it into a temple. This Gurudwara includes a huge rectangular hall, in which Guru Granth Sahib is placed. The major celebration held in this Gurudwara is the birth centennial of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
