Grand Bazaar situated in Istanbul is the biggest roofed markets in the world. This place has over 60 streets and more than 5,000 shops that interests 250,000 to 600,000 visitors’s every day. This is one of the oldest souks in the world and is highly popular for its jewellery, carpets, leather, antique shops, spices, hand-painted ceramics and embroideries. This souk is also home to two of the most imperative mosques, four fountains, numerous cafes, and two hammans and restaurants. The good thing about this souk is that the low workmanship costs, and hence, one can find wide variety of gold, semi-precious stones which includes sapphire, ruby or emerald and precious stones at very reasonable prices.
